Are you a blind or low-vision senior who wants to learn new tips and tricks? Do you want to know how you can remain independent after becoming blind? Do you want to develop social connections through contact with a community of blind friends and mentors? You can do all those things by participating in the 2025 Senior Retreat hosted by the National Federation of the Blind Seniors Division. The retreat will begin on February 16, 2025, and end on February 22. There is no need to leave home to participate. The retreat is being hosted virtually via the Zoom platform. You will receive all the information you need to participate after registering for the event.
We understand that not every senior is conversant with technology. So if you need help with the registration process, our volunteers will be happy to help you. The same is true if you have difficulty using the Zoom platform. So don’t be shy. We are here for you.
Our Senior Retreat page will provide you with additional information and a link to the registration form. We welcome blind and low-vision seniors ages 50 and up, and we hope you will register soon. The deadline for registering is February 7, 2025. So make plans to join us.
If you have questions before registering, call 443-681-9345 or email our president, Glenn Crosby, at gcrosby@nfbtx.org.
See you at the retreat.
